@anon Macau has no direct bus for Hong Kong International Airport as far as we knew. You can take ferry to go there.

hi! i'll be travelling to hong kong with my daughter this october and we're planning to spend the last day of our trip in macau. if we'll be staying in the city of dreams, which bus would be the best to take heading back to hong kong if we're going straight to the airport? our flight leaves at 8:45 pm, so i'm thinking we'll need to leave macau by around 2 pm or 3 pm. which bus do you recommend we take? thanks!

To travel by the bus, you will have to go to HKZMB Macau Port firstly and then take the shuttle bus to HKZMB Hong Kong Port via Hong Kong Zhuhai Macau Bridge and change city bus B5 to go to Hong Kong Airport.

@christine You are allowed to pay in CNY Yuan, Hong Kong Dollar as well as Macau Patacas to purchase the shuttle bus ticket in Macau Passenger Port. Besides cash, payment can be made through Alipay, Wechat, Macau Pass, Union Pay, Visa and Master Card.

@Katie Yes, you can purchase on the day of. The golden buses are very busy on weekends on the ports of Zhuhai and Hong Kong. I am not very sure if it's same to travel from Macau. If it is, you will have to accept some kind of delay. I was told by passengers that it may takes 4 hours to travel on weekends from Zhuhai to Hong Kong due to crowds.

Can we just purchase on Sunday in Macau shortly before boarding the bus, or do we need to get the ticket the day before to assure that we can travel. Many thanks.
