@Bayna you have to write an email to bus@chinatrainguide.com, they will reservate a ticket for you if you want to book in advance. Unfortunately, they take charge 50¥ as a service fee. Hope I could help you!

The border port in China is Youyi Port and Huu Nghi Port in Vietnam.

@Roger Hello, I’m a traveler who is traveling from Nanning to Hanoi too. You can buy the tickets at Nanning Langdong Bus station at the ticket counter straight ahead when you go through the security. We bought our tickets 4 days in advance and had no problem with that. Hope this helps.

Thank you for booking us the tickets. The bus worked very well. The ticket collection was perfect and we got on the bus easily. It was a bit difficult as we didn’t speak much Chinese or Vietnamese but we expected that. The border crossing was easy as we were picked up by the ladies who worked on the Vietnamese side. It was very good and the journey took 8 hours.

Hello, I am actually really struggling with the visa as they ask a ticket to go out and I was thinking leaving via the South to enter from the North in Vietnam. Do you know any bus agency that would have a ticket nanning or kunming to Vietnam? I can’t even find for Hanoi

@Guest As of 8/12/2023 the crossing is called Huu Nghi and I had to buy the ticket at Nanning Langdong Coach station directly.

@Will It is possible I did it from Hanoi to Nanning, although I had a friend from Vietnam who could book a bus ticket from a Vietnamese bus company and then I had to "upgrade" the look of the bus ticket on photoshop as the initial one wasn't accepted by the Chinese Visa center. if you need help contact me via my website www.noemiekadaner.com

@Guest we are not the bus operator and can't answer you regarding e-visa and etc.

@ChinaBusGuide Thanks for your reply! If the border crossing is Dong Dang Port in Vietnam this means that none of your passengers can go through with a e-visa right? The Dong Dang Port is not in their list of allowed border crossings with the e-visa. I don’t know if you are knowledgeable about this, I just thought that as many tourists must cross the border with an e-visa, you must have faced this situation before :) Thanks again

@Anne Weaver what you see here is the latest schedule. This bus crosses border at Pingxiangi Friendship Port in China and Dong Dang Port in Vietnam, then passes by BacGiang Province and Bac Ninh Province and finally arrives at No. 55, Chen Kezhen Road in Hanoi City.

@Pal You will have to purchase tickets yourself directly from the bus station as international bus doesn't accept online booking at all. It passes through the Friendship Pass in Pingxiang City. I am not sure if the e-visa is eligible or not and I hope other travelers could answer you on this topic.

@Drew According to our experience, you should have no problem to have the bus journey even if you don't reserve tickets in advance. We would advise you take risk to purchase bus tickets yourself directly from the bus station, it worth a try.

Having taken the overnight train from Nanning to Hanoi before we would really like to take the alternative - and daytime - route to Hanoi by Bus. Of course there doesn’t seem to be any direct online booking services available for this route and without getting tickets in advance I cannot risk not being able to make the journey so will have to resort to taking the train again. But hopefully you can help and can book the Bus tickets in advance?

@chinabusguide,ok, no Problem i understand. One more question, may I ask? I haven't chinese visa, only EU-passport. I can stay in Shenzhen up to 5 days. I can stay 3 days in Guangzhou without applying for a chinese visa. Generally I only want to go from Hanoi to Shenzhen by bus/train. I need to go from Hanoi to Nanning, from Nanning to Guangzhou, from Guangzhou to Shenzhen. So my problem is Nanning, there is no visa-free option available for Nanning. I can do it like this: Fly from hanoi to Guangzhou, from Guagnzhou I can go to Shenzhen by train But is there another route from Hanoi to Shenzhen, which goes via one of these cities: Peking, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Chengdu, Chongqing, Harbin, Shenyang, Dalian, Xian, Guilin, Kunming, Wuhan, Xiamen, Tianjin, Nanjing, Qingdao, Changsha und Hangzhou?

So it leaves at 7 am. operator is Hongai Tours, depature is at that address you wrote: 308 Trần Khát Chân, Đống Mác, Hai Bà Trưng, Hà Nội, correct? @Guest Are you talking about returning bus from Haoni to Nanning? If yes, I can confirm you the schedule. In fact, buses from Haoni to Nanning are operated by different bus operators with different departure points and schedules. You said the first bus leaves at 9:30 am while China Bus Guide gave you a schedule at 7:00 am, The reason maybe that we are talking about different buses by different operators. FYR, buses specified by China Bus Guide is operated by Hongai Tours. Its departure point in Haoni is: 河内市，二真夫人郡， 陈渴真路308号 in Chinese or "308 Trần Khát Chân, Hai Bà Trưng, HN" in Vietnamese

@ChinaBusGuide It's ok, I will take a train ticket instead, I can buy that one online and get it delivered to my hotel in china. I would have preferred going by bus but if it's not possible to buy your tickets online I can't do much about it. I have to give a proof of exit to the Chinese consulate so it has to be a ticket whit my name on it, that shows that I'm getting out the country. Thank you anyway, have a good day

@Guest Sorry, tickets required are not sold online at all. So you will have to go to Nanning Langdong Bus Station to purchase tickets directly.

I am trying to get the tourist visa for china but in order to do so they want me to show them how and when I intend to go out of the country and my plan was to get the bus from Nanning to Hanoi, what do you think I should do? I would have preferred going by bus but if it's not possible to buy your tickets online I can't do much about it.
