Are buses still going from Ningbo to Shanghai airport?

@John Pudong Airport has direct bus for Cixi. You can search China Bus Guide to find schedules.

I'd like to catch the bus from the airport to Ningbo. Does the bus stop at Cixi or Yuyao on the way?

@Annie You will have to purchase ticket in person as the booking engine of Ningbo South Bus Station can't read English names and passport numbers and there is no way for people like you to book tickets online. The ticket seller at the bus station may not speak English, but there will be no problem for you to purchase ticket from him/her if you would like to spend time on explaining the matter. Otherwise, to speed up ticket purchasing procedure, please let some Chinese people to write a Chinese note indicating your travel date and time, travel itineary, number of tickets you'd like to purchase and etc. and show the note to the ticket seller so that he/can see understand your request quickly. If you can't find people to help to write the Chinese note, you can then send request to people at China Bus to ask for free help.

I would like to ask how I can buy a bus ticket from Ningbo South to Shanghai Pudong Airport for the 22nd of October. I’d like to travel during the afternoon - the bus departing at 15.00 or 16.30 from Ningbo South would be the best. Could you please help what is the easiest way to purchase the ticket? Is it possible to do it online or only in person? If only in person at the Ningbo bus station, do the sales representatives speak English so I can get by?

@Ja The rule limits carry on luggage each passenger should not exceed 20 kg, but in practice, we can see passengers taking over weighted luggage on the bus without any problem. The driver and conductor may have flexibility to decide it according real time condition. For example, if the bus is full, they may adopt strict luggage policy; otherwise, they may just let you go. Since it's bus that goes to the airport, I think the bus may have more room for luggage. If you would like to pay for the luggage, i think you should most likely have no problem to travel the bus. Unfortunately, we don't have baggage fee to provide.

@Suleyman The booking engine of Ningbo South Bus Station can't read English names and passport numbers and we can't book online tickets for you. Please to to the bus station to purchase your tickets directly.
