@Guest the airport bus doesn't go that early. You can take the shuttle bus from HKZMB Zhuhai Port to Hong Kong Port via the HKZMB Bridge and change shuttle bus B4 to go to Hong Kong Airport.

@Ramu It is said that Each passenger is allowed to take on board one piece of luggage (its dimensions shall not exceed 64 cm * 41 cm *23 cm (25" *16" * 9" ) and shall weigh no more than 20 kg (22 Ibs) China Bus Guide. Com was reported by travelers that the luggage policies have not been really enforced yet as they could see people being admitted with much larger luggage, however, we can't confirm this and we would advise our travelers follow the luggage regulations in case you may be delayed for excess baggage.

@Ann During peak period, you are advised to reserve tickets in advance unless you can accept the fact that your departure may be delayed hours after you arrive the bus terminal.

Will reserving tickets in advance be obligatory on December 24th and on the dates around New Years Eve, or will there be available tickets to buy on the spot?

@Matteo If you have tight schedule, or you are traveling during weekends or holidays, you are advised to reserve tickets in advance as the golden shuttle buses are reported to be very busy. Otherwise, you can just purchase tickets on the spot/

@NKins Zhuhai Port is connected with the downtown by quite several bus routes. You can find more transportation information here https://www.chinabusguide.com/station/hkzmb-zhuhai-port.html As for taxi, it is allowed to come here to drop off passengers, however, I can't confirm with you if it's allowed to pick up passengers because all taxis are required to leave immediately after alighting.

@NKins As far as we knew, the 7-seater business bus is not available from Hong Kong International Airport to Zhuhai yet. You can take the shuttle bus B4 from HKIA to Hong Kong Port on the Great Bridge and take the golden bus for Zhuhai there.

@ChinaBusGuide Hi there! is there also a 7-seater business bus from HKIA to Zhuhai? When arriving in Zhuhai, are there taxis at the Zhuhai port? I need to get to the Crowne Plaza Zhuhai City Center, leaving HKIA around 18:00 this Thursday.

@raymond Taking shuttle bus B4 from Hong Kong International Airport to HKZMB Hong Kong Port and then take a golden shuttle bus there for Zhuhai directly. FYR, Riding time on B4 is 10 minutes and riding time on the golden bus via the Great Bridge is 45 minutes.

3 of us planning to travel to zhuhai from HKIA via hk/zhuhai/macau bridge.please advise us the best/quickest way . TQVM

@Martin Zhuhai Port of Hong Kong - Zhuhai - Macau Bridge has 7-seater business bus running for Hong Kong Airport directly and service is available 24 hours in a day, 7 days in a week. In off-peak hours from 23:00 to 06:59 on the next day, it has no fixed departure time. In another word, it is driven by traffic volume. If there are more people using the bus, it may depart immediately. Otherwise, you may have some delay until it is almost fully used. It takes about 1 hour to travel to Hong Kong Airport using this bus. Under this case, considering you have a tight schedule, I would advise you ask the ticket person or even the driver to see if it can leave on the time you wished. Otherwise, you can just turn back to the golden shuttle bus which is available every 20 minutes even in off-peak hours. Upon arrival to Hong Kong International Airport, you can change to another shuttle bus B4 which is also available 24 hours a day to travel to Hong Kong Airport. Journey time is about 45 minutes for the shuttle bus running on Hong Kong - Zhuhai - Macau Great Bridge and 10 minutes on B4. We are told by passengers that it is quite busy on weekends and the journey may take as long as 4 hours due to crowds. Since you happen to travel on weekend, please don't wait until the last minute to go there to make the bus journey.

Note please: Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macau shuttle bus service was available on October 24, 2018. The shuttle buses are available 24 hours a day and cut travel time from between Hong Kong and Zhuhai to as short as 40 minutes.
