Since Jiangyin has no train station, people arrive in or leave from Jiangyin mainly by bus which made Jiangyin Bus Station quite busy all over the day. The bus station has a daily ridership of 150,000 on average in off-peak days or 250,000 maximum in holidays. It has launched direct buses for Shanghai Pudong International Airport from November 12, 2018.
