☝ Qiandao Lake Central Coach Station
Qiandao Lake or the Thousand Island Lake has three coach stations and the Central Coach Station is the biggest one. Here you can find bus for Shanghai, Hangzhou, Jiaxing, Yiwu, Ningbo, Wuxi, Tongxiang, Wenzhou, Jinhua, Huangshan and etc. Even though it's quite far from the downtown, Qiandao Lake Central Coach Station is close to Qiandao Lake Scenic Area. Here, you can take city bus No. 7 or No. 8 to get to Qiandao Lake Scenic Area in about half an hour or take a taxi to get to Qiandao Lake Cruise Terminal in about 20 minutes. Buses leaving here are speedy as they mainly travel via the highway and travelers can get to Hangzhou West Bus Station in as short as two hours. To travel from Qiandao Lake North Bus Station to Hangzhou, it would take you about 3 hours.
